Apple: Sell On Strength: (Released: 28/07/2016)
The recent uptick in the stock price post quarter have given index managers and retail investors a reason to be cheerful, however, there is still some negative sentiment about how AAPL has been performing this year. News about Apple extending their smartphone replacement cycle, smartphone maturity, regulatory and industry challenges with China, and finally their ability to remain the innovation leaders are growing concerns for investors. After three consecutive quarterly declines, AAPL finally saw a growth in services revenue of 19 percent. If the new generation of iPhone isn’t truly revolutionary, there could be further decrease in AAPL’s revenue and unit growth.

Charted: How the iPhone Ate Apple: (Released: 28/07/2016)
All the revenue from any product line that Apple has released since 2007, the year the first generation iPhone went public, pales in comparison to what the iPhone has done for Apple. If every product line were to grow strongly, then it wouldn’t matter so much but revenues for Apple’s major products (iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and other pieces of tech) have all fallen last quarter. People are holding onto their iPhones longer and the demand in China has weakened, prompting Apple to heavily invest into R&D.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) Watch and iPhone 7 Speculation, Leaks and Rumors: (Release: 28/07/2016)
Apple, yet again, went through another quarter with a drop in sales. There is hope that the new generation of iPhone will stop this downward trend from continuing. Certain features such as wireless charging and faster speed have loyal customers eager to upgrade to the new model. Opinions and speculations are the only things the general public have to go off of for details over the new iPhone as Apple remains tight-lipped.
